The initial strike missions from Champions were pretty quick and had just a handful of mechanics each. The Minister Li strike mission has half a dozen different bosses with dozens of unique attacks and mechanics. No desire to learn it all as I don't plan on running it regularly. When you dismount, your character is tossed off from their current (mounted) position, the camera re-attaches to your character, and the mount is unloaded. When the mount fails to load, your character and camera have nothing to attach to, hence you seeing your character stuck in the ground and your camera not moving.
