When exporting multiple audio files, Audacity will only export tracks that are not grayed-out by use of the Mute or Solo buttons in the tracks' Track Control Panels. Also note that any hidden parts of audio clips are not exported, see Audio Tracks and Clips. Accessed by: File > Export Audio Ctrl + Shift + E.
Create a new stereo track (rather than create a new mono track) which will appear at the bottom. Copy and paste the single mono track you want to make pseudo-stereo into it, (it will become dual mono). Delete* or mute* the original mono track and apply the pseudo-stereo effect to the dual mono version. [* optional: you may want to keep the use Ctrl+A to select the whole project. use Tracks > Align Tracks > Align End to End. they’ll now all be in separate tracks - but arranged one after theother in sequence. Export the entire project to a new audio file in your preferred format. You may wish to be more sophisticated and overlaps the beginning/ends of tracks and using crossfades. Is there a way to remove all those gaps automatically? There is the option “Edit > CLip boundaries > Join”, but that just replaces the gaps with silent audio. I could just move each clip manually to the left till it touches the previous one, butAudio Clips. In Audacity, all audio is contained in clips. Each clip can be moved around independently of other clips. Clip names can be edited to make them more meaningful. Clips can be trimmed non-destructively, that is without losing audio. The audio is just hidden and can be restored later.
